Smoking

Adverse impacts of smoking are well known. Also, our government is doing very good job in educating public about the harmful impacts of smoking. Family Physician office provide excellent information on the impact of smoking to our lungs and other parts of our bodies. However, smoking can be grouped into 2 categories, Direct and Indirect. Direct smoking is also known as First Hand Smoking and Indirect smoking is known as Second Hand Smoking. In Direct smoking individual is a smoker whereas in Indirect smoking the individuals are non-smokers but are present around the smokers. Second Hand smoking is as harmful as First Hand smoking but in general this information has not very well documented. Friends of smokers do not take this seriously. Also, when group of people smoke together, then all of the people in the group are exposed to Direct and Indirect smoking. This situation is also not very well documented.
